Now, after exponential growth that has exceeded all expectations, even in the face of a global pandemic, 澳门足彩app is seeking top candidates for the vital position of Director – Project Development, commonly known as the project director, to meet the needs of a fast-growing client base.
Whether it’s a greenfield project, an update and expansion of an existing facility, or a standalone system upgrade to meet changing EPA requirements, the project director is the linchpin.
"A person in this position orchestrates the entire project," said Tiffany Shaw, leader of the Industrial Water Division. “It requires someone who has a broad base of skills: preconstruction, estimating, construction, contract negotiations, and proposals. This is the person who directs the project from the beginning all the way through close out.”
“We're growing very quickly, and there all of our projects require this type of oversight.”
Shaw is an engineer by training and previously served as a design director before taking on project direction, too. While most project directors come from the construction side of the house, Shaw said it is a role she valued in her professional development.
"I feel like it's a position that sets a strong foundation for your career,” she said. “This role challenges you to know every piece of a project and how it works. When you ask someone to do something, you really understand what you're asking them to do, which helps you work collaboratively with the project and client teams.”
Industrial Water is part of 澳门足彩app’s Infrastructure & Transportation (I&T) Group along with its overall Water Division, which ranks among the Top 20 Contractors in Environment – Wastewater Treatment Plants by Engineering News-Record (ENR).
But more than half of Industrial Water’s work is done in conjunction with the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Group, and, more specifically, its Food & Beverage Division, ranked ENR’s No. 1-ranked Food & Beverage Contractor.

"It’s another way we can collaborate with and serve the client, in addition to our in-house abilities to provide processing, packaging, building or facility expansion,” Shaw said.
Successful candidates for Director – Project Development will be skilled communicators who are highly collaborative, motivated and organized. They should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience and at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction.
"It's really for that person who loves the whole process, from the chase to the execution,” Shaw said. “It's a big job, and it’s fast paced. There is a lot of client interaction and a lot of team-building. It’s knowing all of the pieces and parts that go into a project, leading teams and facilitating the best outcome and a fantastic experience for the client.”
